چکیده
Drought is one of the most common environmental stresses affecting crops yield and quality. Plants’ responses to drought are controlled by regulatory mechanisms. Sesame an important oilseed crop that likely faces during its growth due growing in semi-arid arid areas. Despite this importance, there little information about sesame mechanisms against stress. In study, highly differentially expressed genes were identified using in-silico transcriptome analysis two genotypes (one sensitive tolerant) under Interactions between regulators including Transcription Factors (TF) microRNAs (miRNA) predicted bioinformatics tools then related networks constructed. A total 117 TFs 133 miRNAs might be involved stress with approach. Key detected network analysis. Regulatory modules response extracted from integrated MCODE algorithm, explore relationships. Finally, some drought-tolerance-related examined qRT-PCR contrasting conditions. Interestingly, studied showed a different expression pattern tolerant genotype compared sensitive. Taken together, our results suggest miR530/TGA1/CER1, miR319/NAC29L, miR171/SUC2L play key roles tolerance regulating wax biosynthesis, leaf senescence, sugar transport drought, respectively. Overall, drought-related along their relationships could valuable candidates for future studies breeding programs on enhancing

Evaluation of Traits Related to Drought Stress in Sesame (sesamum Indicum L.) Genotypes
In order to evaluate traits related to drought stress in eight sesame (sesamum indicum L.) genotypes, two experiments were carried out in randomized complete design with three replications in the field of the Research Station of College of Agriculture, Shiraz University, Iran. The two experiments differed with respect to their irrigation regimes. Yield related traits (number of days to maturati...
متن کاملFloral Biology and pollination requirements of sesame (Sesamum indicum L.)
This study aimed to investigate the floral biology and pollination requirements of sesame (Sesamum indicum L.), cultivar CNPA G2. The study was carried out at Barbalha, State of Ceará, and consisted of two phases: floral biology and pollination requirements. Flowers were observed as for time of anthesis, lifespan and stigma receptivity, and were applied the following pollination treatments: ope...
متن کاملDynamic transcriptome landscape of sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) under progressive drought and after rewatering
Drought is one of the most important abiotic stresses that impair sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) productivity mainly when it occurs at flowering stage. However up to now, very few studies have attempted to investigate the molecular responses of sesame to drought stress. In this experiment, two genotypes having contrasting responses to drought (tolerant and sensitive) were submitted to progressive ...
متن کاملSesame (Sesamum indicum) Response to Postemergence-directed Herbicide Applications
Field studies were conducted from 2006 to 2010 under weed-free conditions in south Texas and in the Texas High Plains to determine sesame tolerance to applied postemer‐ gence-directed herbicides. Injury was greatest when herbicides were applied to 15 cm of the main stem compared to herbicide applications made to 5 cm of the main stem height. Glyphosate at 0.84 kg ae/ha and pyrithiobac-sodium at...
متن کاملThe amino acid sequence of sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) and castor (Ricinus communis L.) cytochrome c.
The amino acid sequences of sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) and castor (Ricinus communis L.) cytochrome c were determined by using 1.5mumol of protein from each species. Both molecules consist of a single chain of 111 amino acid residues and are homologous with other mitochondrial cytochrome c molecules. Both have an N-acetylated ;tail' of eight amino acids and two in-N-trimethyl-lysine residues, a...
